Getting Started

How do I install GlowUp?

Install GlowUp directly from the Shopify App Store. Once installed, the app creates your dashboard automatically. No coding or theme editing required — the storefront widget integrates natively via a theme app extension.

How does GlowUp work?

GlowUp sends automated emails to your customers at the right moments: a 'before' photo request shortly after purchase, and an 'after' request once enough time has passed for visible results. Customers upload photos via a unique secure link — no account needed.

Which Shopify themes are supported?

GlowUp works with all Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes. The storefront widget is delivered as a native theme app extension, so it integrates seamlessly with any theme — including custom builds.

Do my customers need to create an account?

No. Each customer receives a unique, secure upload link via email. They can submit their photos and review in one click — zero friction, no sign-up required.

Reviews & Moderation

How do I moderate submissions?

Every submission lands in your moderation queue inside the GlowUp dashboard. You can approve, reject, or flag photos before they appear on your storefront. Nothing goes live without your explicit approval.

Can customers leave a text review along with photos?

Yes. The upload form includes an optional text review and star rating. Approved reviews display alongside the before/after photos on your product pages.

What happens if a customer doesn't respond?

On the Growth plan and above, GlowUp can send automatic reminder emails to customers who haven't submitted yet — gently nudging them to share their experience.

Can I offer incentives for submissions?

Absolutely. On Starter plans and above, GlowUp auto-generates unique promo codes as a thank-you for each approved submission. You configure the discount rules — GlowUp handles the rest.

Integrations & Customization

Does GlowUp integrate with email platforms like Klaviyo?

Yes. The Growth plan includes native Klaviyo and Omnisend integrations, allowing you to incorporate GlowUp events into your existing email flows and segments.

Can I customize the emails and upload page?

On Starter plans and above, you can customize colors, add your logo, adjust the sender name and email, and edit the copy. The upload page and emails match your brand identity.

Can I choose which products trigger collection?

Yes. You can configure per-product rules — choose between Before/After photo pairs, single-photo reviews, or text-only reviews. Products can also be excluded entirely.

Does GlowUp sync with Shopify metafields?

On the Growth plan, approved reviews sync to product metafields, making them available to your theme, headless frontend, or any tool that reads Shopify metafields.

Pricing & Plans

What pricing plans are available?

GlowUp offers four plans: Free ($0 — up to 25 orders/month), Starter ($19/month or $180/year — 200 orders), Growth ($49/month or $468/year — 2,000 orders), and Scale ($99/month or $948/year — unlimited). All paid plans include a 14-day free trial.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. All paid plans (Starter, Growth, Scale) include a 14-day free trial. You can test every feature with no payment required during the trial period.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the app dashboard or your Shopify billing settings. Billing changes are prorated automatically by Shopify.

What happens if I exceed my order limit?

Collection emails pause for the rest of the billing cycle. Existing submissions and your storefront widget remain active. You can upgrade your plan at any time to resume collection.

Privacy & Data

Is customer data secure?

Yes. All uploads are stored on Cloudflare R2 with HTTPS encryption. Customer photos are only accessible via signed URLs, and access tokens are stored encrypted in our database.

Do you comply with GDPR?

Yes. GlowUp implements Shopify mandatory webhooks for data requests, erasure, and shop redaction. Customer data is deleted within 30 days of uninstallation. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What data does GlowUp collect?

We collect shop domain, owner email, and order data necessary for the service. Customer data (name, email, photos) is only used to facilitate the review flow and is never sold to third parties.

What if I need help?

Contact our support team at tsp.pricescan@gmail.com. Growth and Scale plans include priority support. We typically respond within 24-48 hours during business days (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM France Time).

How do I report a bug?

Email us at tsp.pricescan@gmail.com with 'GlowUp Bug Report' in the subject line. Include your shop domain, steps to reproduce, and screenshots if possible.

Will GlowUp slow down my store?

No. The storefront widget loads asynchronously and uses lazy-loaded images. The app has zero impact on your store's page-load speed or Core Web Vitals.
